Premier Williams Congratulates Premier Charest

The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today congratulated Premier Jean Charest on winning the provincial election in Quebec.

�I would like to sincerely congratulate Premier Charest and his party in their victory in the Quebec provincial election,� said Premier Williams. �Premier Charest has provided exceptional leadership to the people of Quebec and I wish him well as he continues in his role. I look forward to continuing with a productive and positive working relationship with Premier Charest on issues of mutual concern to our provinces, and within the Council of the Federation.�
