Executive Council February 16, 2007 Media Advisory: Premier Danny Williams Opens 2007 Corner Brook Winter Carnival The Honorable Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, Danny Williams, will officially open the 2007 Corner Brook Winter Carnival today, Friday, February 16. The opening ceremony will take place at the Margaret Bowater Park in Corner Brook at 7:00 p.m. Prior to the opening ceremony, Premier Williams will attend other scheduled events including the Flag Raising and Torch Lighting at City Hall, 6:30 p.m., and the People�s Parade that accompanies the torch from City Hall to Margaret Bowater Park at 6:45 p.m. -30- Media contact: 2007 02 16 10:00 a.m. |
