Media Advisory: Council of the Federation to Meet in Toronto on February 7

As chair of the Council of the Federation, the Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador announced that the Council will meet on February 7 in Toronto to review progress on initiatives from the 2006 Council of the Federation summer meeting and discuss future work and other matters of importance to all Canadians.

 Information for media covering the meeting

  1. Media are encouraged to register in advance by sending their name, media outlet and phone number to Loretta@councilofthefederation.ca.
  2. Media must register upon arrival at the meeting and obtain an identification badge, which must be worn at all times.
  3. A media work room will be available in the Banff Room (Rm. 01-263), First Floor, Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
  4. A uni-mic will be available on the Lobby level (northwest corner of Lobby, outside the Imperial Room).
