Executive Council January 4, 2007 Premier Williams Announces Changes to Senior Appointments The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today announced the resignation of Ross Reid as Deputy Minister to the Premier, effective immediately. Premier Williams graciously thanked Mr. Reid for his hard-work and dedication to the Williams� government. "Mr. Reid has made significant contributions during his time with government and I wish to thank him on behalf of the people of the province, for his continued service to Newfoundland and Labrador," said Premier Williams. Premier Williams also announced the recent promotion of his Executive Assistant (EA), Stephen Dinn, who will now assume the position as Deputy Chief of Staff. "Mr. Dinn has done an exceptional job as a senior member of my staff and I am confident he will continue to excel in his new role as Deputy Chief of Staff," added the Premier. -30- Media contact: 2007 01 04
