The proponent proposes a five-year forest operating
plan for District 17 that outlines timber harvest plans, silviculture
treatments and primary road locations. The projected harvest is
approximately 357,500 m3 of timber and 64 km of primary
access roads are proposed for constructed.
The undertaking was registered on September 20, 2007;
the deadline for public comments is October 26, 2007; and the minister's
decision is due by November 4, 2007.
Comments on submitted documents are invited from the
public, addressed in writing to the minister, prior to the deadline date
shown.
