Environmental Assessment Bulletin

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the
following event relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

COMPONENT STUDY (FINAL TEXT) ACCEPTED AS SATISFACTORY:

Marine Environment Component Study
Long Harbour Commercial Nickel Processing Plant
Proponent: Voiseys Bay Nickel Company Limited                                                     (Reg. 1243)

The minister has accepted as satisfactory the submission by the proponent, dated July 3, 2007, to meet the requirements for the Marine Environment Component Study. It is now posted on the Environmental Assessment Division Web site.
