Media Advisory: Minister to Bring Greetings at Climate Crisis Presentation

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will bring greetings tomorrow (Wednesday, March 28) during a luncheon presentation entitled The Climate Crisis featuring Peter Corbyn. Minister Jackman will address the audience beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in St. John�s.

Mr. Corbyn is the founder of Earthinstitute.Ca and has trained as a presenter for The Climate Project established by former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore. In his presentation, Mr. Corbyn will discuss how individuals, businesses, schools and other organizations can be a major part of the solution to the growing crisis of global warming. He will also talk about the impact of climate change on Canada.

The presentation is sponsored by the Department of Environment and Conservation, the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Atlantic Newfoundland Chapter, the Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association (NEIA) and the City of St. John�s.
