The media is advised that the results of the Grand Falls-Windsor-Buchans Election can be obtained from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, as soon as the results are received from the Returning Officer after the polls close at 8:00 p.m. The Returning Officer will be reporting the first poll results received and then in increments of every five polls received. There are a total of 32 polls. This information will be made available to the media as it is received. Please make arrangements for access to a direct phone line by calling 709-729-0712.

Alternatively, a room is provided for media representatives who wish to be present as the results are received at the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, located at 39 Hallett Crescent, St. John�s. Please confirm your attendance by noon on Monday, November 5, 2007 via telephone at 709-729-0712.

Also, please note that the results will be posted live on the Elections NL Web site as they are received (www. gov.nl.ca/elections).
