Elections Newfoundland and Labrador concluded a province-wide enumeration in all electoral districts of the province on May 25.

During the course of enumerating, there were a number of "vacant" houses and houses with "no response" captured by the appointed enumerators throughout all electoral districts.

Elections Newfoundland and Labrador is currently in the process of verifying whether or not these addresses are valid with the intent of including qualified occupants in the List of Electors. An explanation letter along with an enumeration record form is currently being forwarded to these addresses. Current occupants are asked to cooperate and complete this enumeration record form for all qualified electors at the residence. The completed form should be returned in the postage paid envelope to Elections Newfoundland and Labrador by July 15, 2007, so that all qualified electors may be included in the List of Electors for the upcoming October 9, 2007 Provincial General Election.
