The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister of Education, will
address 400 students and teachers at the opening ceremonies of the
annual Provincial Student Leadership Conference (PSCL) in Carbonear. The
conference helps students develop skills to improve and create
opportunities in their schools and home communities.
This is the 18th year for the PSLC, which
is hosted by a different school each year. The opening ceremonies get
underway at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 25, at Carbonear Collegiate, 95
Valley Road, Carbonear.
