Education May 23, 2007 Media Advisory: Education Minister Addresses National Library Conference The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister of Education, will welcome delegates to the Canadian Library Association national conference at 9 a.m., on Thursday, May 24, at the Mile One Centre in St. John�s. During her address, the minister will outline supports for the provincial library system in Budget 2007. Approximately 1,200 people from across Canada, representing library and information communities from various organizations, will attend the conference.
