Minister to Announce $1 Million The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister of Education, will hold a news conference tomorrow (Tuesday, May 15) regarding the new School of Ocean Technology, announced in Budget 2007. Minister Burke will be joined by Dr. Axel Meisen, President of Memorial University, and Glenn Blackwood, Executive Director of the Marine Institute.
