Education January 25, 2007 Media Advisory: Education Minister to Make Announcement
The Honourable Joan Burke, Minister of Education, has scheduled a news conference today, Thursday, January 25, to announce changes affecting apprentices in the skilled labour sector. The news conference will be held at 12 noon at College of the North Atlantic campus, Corner Brook, in the atrium. The minister will be joined by Bob Ridgley, MHA for St. John�s North and chair of the Skills Task Force and Gus Doyle, president of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 579. -30-
