Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Innovation Awards Ceremony

The Honourable Kevin O�Brien, Minister of Business, will address Canada�s leaders in the manufacturing and exporting sectors during the 2007 Canadian Innovation Awards ceremony taking place at the St. John�s Convention Centre, today (Monday, October 22), beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Minister O�Brien will also present several awards at the ceremony, which is the gala event during the meeting of the board of directors of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) taking place in St. John�s today. Board members are also participating in Eastern Excellence: Best Practices in Atlantic Canada, a conference hosted by CME�s Newfoundland and Labrador division. The conference runs October 23-24 at the convention centre.
