The Honourable Trevor Taylor, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, and the Honourable Kevin O�Brien, Minister of Business, will be speaking at the Northern Peninsula Business Network Inc. Investment Forum on Friday, February 23, at the Greenwood Inn and Suites, Corner Brook.

The theme of the Investment Forum is Innovation Through Investment. It is designed to inform participants of the importance of seizing investment opportunities when they arise. The focus is on investment and exporting opportunities in Newfoundland and Labrador, and growing a prosperous provincial economy.

Minister Taylor will speak at 9:00 a.m. He will discuss the importance of collaboration in developing regional economies and government supports available businesses and economic development groups. Minister O�Brien will discuss the mandate of the Department of Business and the importance of investment to the provincial economy and will speak at 7:00 p.m.
