Auditor General to Release Report to the House of Assembly on Reviews of Departments and Crown Agencies for the Year Ended 31 March 2006

 

John L. Noseworthy, CA, Auditor General, today announced that he plans to present his report to the House of Assembly on Reviews of Departments and Crown Agencies for the Year Ended 31 March 2006 to the Speaker of the House of Assembly on Wednesday, January 31.

 

The report will contain approximately 475 pages of conclusions, commentary, recommendations and auditees� comments.  The report outlines the reflections of the Auditor General, the results of reviews of government departments and Crown agencies, and information relating to monitoring of prior years� recommendations.  It also includes a section relating to the completion of Phase I of the review of constituency allowance claims by Members of the House of Assembly.

 

The Auditor General will be available to the media on an appointment basis after the report has been presented to the Speaker of the House of Assembly.
