NLIS 4 March 2, 2006 (Transportation and Works) NOTE TO EDITORS: Department closes section of Trans Canada Highway from Paddy�s Pond to Salmonier Line The Department of Transportation and Works, in consultation with the R.C.M.P., advises the public that due to snow and poor visibility, the section of Trans Canada Highway from the Paddy�s Pond Interchange to the Salmonier Line Interchange will be closed to allow snow-removal crews to clear the highway. It is expected that conditions may allow re-opening of that section late this afternoon. The department will advise when the re-opening occurs.
