NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to bring greetings at the Canadian Dental Association opening reception

Tom Hedderson, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, will bring greetings at the 2006 Canadian Dental Association (CDA) Joint Convention at the St. John�s Convention Centre tomorrow (Thursday, August 24) at 7 p.m.

The CDA convention, taking place from August 24-26, is being presented in conjunction with the Newfoundland and Labrador Dental Association and will bring over 1,000 dentists and dental assistants to the province, making it one of the largest conventions held in St. John�s this summer. The meetings and convention market is an important part of the province�s tourism industry.
