The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

Basketball teams off to Quebec Festival

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will be sending the U14 Girls Developmental team to Montreal, Quebec this weekend, July 20 � 23 to compete in the International Quebec Festival.

Members of the program include: Samantha Flynn, Amy Gough, Darcy Griffin, Victoria Morgan, Samantha Noseworthy, Meagan Robbins and Amanda Martret of St. John�s; Brianne Carey from Corner Brook, Stacey O�Brien from Cape Broyle, Janie O�Leary from Holyrood, Myfanwy Price from Logy Bay and Sarah Stamp of Mount Pearl. Coaches of the program are Frank Foo and Jennifer Foo of Corner Brook and Ramona Martret of St. John�s.

Competition commences on Friday and will conclude with the championship game on Sunday.
