The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

Basketball teams off to Loyalist Tournament

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will be sending the U14 Boys Developmental Team to Saint John, NB, this weekend, July 14 � 16 to compete in the Loyalist Invitational Championship.

es attending the event include: Teddy Cadigan, Brett MacDonald, Michael Martin, Evan Parsons, Tyler Quigley, Patrick Smith, Stephen Smith, Ryan Wood and Theodore Stanoev of St. John�s and Ciaran Curran, Ben Riche and Adam Taylor of Mount Pearl. Coaches for the program include Tim Ford, Bob Riche and Elmo Taylor. Competition will commence on Friday and will conclude with the championship games on Sunday afternoon.
