Minor Pepsi Basketball Tournaments

More than 70 teams will hit the road this weekend, April 28-30 to play in the Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association�s Pepsi Provincial U15 Midget Championships in various regions of the province. This will be the final weekend for the championships that saw over 300 teams compete in various age groups over the past three months.

Gander will play host to the West Coast U15 Boys and Girls events with a total of 25 teams registered for competition. Baltimore School in Ferryland will host the East Coast U15 Girls A while Roncalli of Avondale will host the B. The C event will take place at Villanova School in CBS. The East Coast U15 Boys A will be played at MacDonald Dr. in St. John�s. The B is scheduled for St. Kevin�s in the Goulds while the C will take place at St. Peter�s School in Mount Pearl. Most events will commence on Friday with championship games slated for Sunday afternoon.
