Innovation, Trade and Rural Development November 22, 2006 Media Advisory: Media Technical Briefing - Government�s Broadband Initiative Representatives from the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development (INTRD) will hold a technical briefing today, November 22, at 10:00 a.m., in INTRD's main boardroom, 2nd Floor, West Block, Confederation Building. During the briefing, media will get an overview of government�s broadband initiative, the transgulf fibre optic project and the EWA Report which assessed the fibre optic proposal. The briefing will run for approximately 30 minutes. Cameras, recorders, etc. will not be permitted at the briefing.
