NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to discuss poverty reduction

Paul Shelley, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and the lead minister for Government�s poverty reduction strategy, will speak about the government�s emphasis on poverty reduction on Wednesday, March 29.

Minister Shelley will be on hand to present certificates to graduates at the graduation ceremony of the Stella Burry Employment Program. The ceremony will last approximately one hour and begins at 1:00 p.m.

The event will take place at Wesley United Church (Patrick Street, St. John�s - enter at side door).
