Media Advisory: Minister to Hold News Conference on New Mental Health Legislation

The Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Health and Community Services, will be joined by Nadia Power, president of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Newfoundland and Labrador Division, for a news conference on Thursday, December 7, to provide further details on the new The Mental Health Care and Treatment Act, which received first reading on Tuesday.

The news conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the Media Centre, East Block, Confederation Building.
