NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to make major announcement regarding seal processing policy

Tom Rideout, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will make a major announcement regarding seal processing policy in Newfoundland and Labrador at the Barry Group Inc. seal tannery, in Catalina.

The minister will make the announcement on Thursday, June 29, at 12:30 p.m.

A reception will follow at the Seaport Inn, Port Union.

Representatives of the media are invited to attend.
