NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to speak at NLOWE luncheon in Grand Falls-Windsor

Joan Burke, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will be delivering remarks at the NLOWE Awards Luncheon in Grand Falls-Windsor at 12:00 noon today (Friday, July 14) at the Mount Peyton Hotel.

The luncheon is being held to honour Jacqueline Jenkins, local lawyer and member of the Provincial Advisory Council on the Status of Women. Ms. Jenkins received the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Central Region at the annual NLOWE awards gala held in May.
