NLIS 9 June 30, 2006 (Executive Council) NOTE TO EDITOR: Dianne Whalen, Minister of Government Services will participate in a ceremony tomorrow commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme at Beaumont Hamel during Canada Day Celebration�s on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Minister Whalen will lay a wreath on behalf of the province to honour the members of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment who fought and died during the Battle of the Somme.
