NLIS 4 June 21, 2006 (Executive Council) NOTE TO EDITORS: Media accreditation and
accommodation deadlines are fast approaching Media representatives who wish to attend the Council of the Federation summer meeting must register by Friday, June 23. This applies to national media, as well as local Newfoundland and Labrador media. To register, please complete an online application for accreditation, which is available at //www.gov.nl.ca/cof. Click on the Registration button located on the left side of the page. Applicants will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. Media representatives are responsible for making their own individual hotel reservations. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Delta St. John�s Hotel. A Local Reservations representative can be contacted at 1-888-79-DELTA. Please reference Group Code GBPREM. Media representatives must place their reservation no later than 30 days prior to arrival in order to qualify for a special group rate. Due to the busy convention season, hotel space in St. John's is extremely limited. Media are strongly encouraged to make accommodation arrangements by Friday, June 23. Media are asked to contact either of the following should they require assistance with specific services in connection with the conference: Elizabeth Matthews, Office of the Premier Doris Walsh, Organizing Committee and
