NOTE TO EDITORS: Premier Williams invites fellow Premiers and National Aboriginal Leaders to meet in Corner Brook

Premiers and National Aboriginal Leaders have been invited by Premier Danny Williams to meet in Corner Brook, Tuesday, July 25 to discuss progress on closing the gap between Aboriginal people and other Canadians.

Media Accommodations
Media representatives are responsible for making their own individual reservations. A limited block of rooms has been reserved at the Glynmill Inn, Corner Brook. A local reservations representative can be contacted at 1-800-563-4400. Please reference "COF Pre-Conference Media" to receive the special group rate. Media representatives must place their reservation no later than 30 days prior to arrival. All rooms are provided on a "first come, first served" basis.

Transportation
If you are traveling to Corner Brook, flights should be booked to destination Deer Lake, NL (airport code YDF). Corner Brook is located approximately 30 minutes drive from Deer Lake airport. Air Canada and Canjet fly directly into Deer Lake from outside the province, through either Montreal or Halifax.

If you plan to attend the COF meetings in St. John�s there are a limited number of seats reserved for media on charter flights from Deer Lake to St. John�s on Wednesday afternoon, July 26. These seats will be provided on a "first come, first served" basis, at a cost of $250.00 per seat. Please advise Doris Walsh if you wish to avail of the charter.
