NLIS 3 June 8, 2006 (Executive Council) NOTE TO EDITORS: Intergovernmental Affairs Minister John Ottenheimer will make a presentation to Captain Michael Pretty, Adjutant, First Battalion, Royal Newfoundland Regiment and representatives of the France and Flanders 2006 Pilgrimage Committee and the Regimental Advisory Council on Friday, June 9, at 11:00 a.m. in the foyer of the Confederation Building, East Block. The presentation relates to July 1, 2006 ceremonies commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of Somme at Beaumont Hamel, France.
