NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister Whalen to host Girl Guide�s Chief Commissioner�s Gold Awards
Dianne Whalen, Minister of Government Services, will host the Girl Guides annual provincial Chief Commissioner�s Gold Awards. Approximately 30 girl guides will receive the award which is the highest level of recognition a young woman can earn before becoming an adult member of the organization.
The event will be held this afternoon (Thursday, June 8) at 2:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Confederation Building, East Block.
