NOTE TO EDITORS: Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Awards to be presented

Clyde Jackman, Minister of Environment and Conservation, will announce the winners of the 17th annual Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Awards at a ceremony at the Admiral�s Green Clubhouse, Pippy Park, 460 Allandale Road, St. John�s, Monday, June 5.

Minister Jackman will be joined by Shirley Fraize, president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Women�s Institutes, and John Scott, chairman and CEO of Multi-Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB).

Also keynote speaker is Bob McDonald, host of CBC�s Quirks and Quarks. The event begins at 12:00 noon. Lunch will be served. All media representatives are invited to attend.
