Environment and Conservation Minister Tom Osborne has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

UNDERTAKINGS RELEASED:

• Pasadena Sodium Hydrosulfite Facility                       (Reg. 1136)
  Proponent: Vimax Industries

The above project has been released from environmental assessment, however, the Town of Pasadena has indicated that this proposed facility does not conform to the town plan and are not prepared to amend the plan to accommodate the facility.

• Dome Mountain (Happy Valley-Goose Bay) Communications Transmission Line
  Proponent: Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro                                           (Reg. 1226)
   
• Conche Nordhaven Landing Resort Development                                        (Reg. 1227)
  Proponent: Nordhaven Landing Inc.
   
• L�Anse-au-Diable Mink Fur Farm and Feed Kitchen Weste St. Modeste
  Proponent: Labrador Fur Farms Ltd.                                                         (Reg. 1228)
