Placentia & St. Mary�s by election results February 21, 2006

Media representatives are advised that the preliminary results of the Placentia & St. Mary�s by election can be obtained from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, as soon as the results are received from the returning officer after the polls close at 8:00 p.m. The returning officer will be reporting the first poll results received and then in increments of every five polls until all 37 polls have been reported. These results will be posted on our Web site as soon as they become available.

Alternatively, a room is provided for media representatives who wish to be present as the results are received at the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer located at 39 Hallett Crescent, St. John�s. Please confirm your attendance by noon Friday, February 17, 2006, by telephoning (709) 729-0712.
