NOTE TO EDITORS: MV Nonia to get ramp extension

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the MV Nonia will soon be getting an extension to its existing ramp, to better enable vehicles to enter and exit the vessel.

The extension will be fabricated over the coming weeks and installed when completed. This is not an unusual procedure and has been performed on other vessels.

During the installation, it may be necessary to remove the vessel from service for a brief period. A further announcement would be made at that time.
