NLIS 5 December 15, 2005 (Tourism, Culture and Recreation) The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: Club basketball championships The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will host the first provincial U15 Club Championships this weekend, December 16-17 for males and females. The midget girl's events will take place at Mount Pearl Senior High while Beaconsfield will host the male division. Clubs entered include the Junior Vikings, Avalon Mystics, Cowan Heights and Runnin Ramblers. The winning clubs will earn the right to participate in the National Midget Club Championships slated for Ontario on the July 1 weekend.
