at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:
Provincial Basketball
Championships
The Newfoundland and Labrador
Basketball Association will host six U17 Pepsi Provincial
Championships this weekend, April 8 - 10 with a total of 35 teams
participating.
St. Catherine�s, of Mount Carmel will host the East Coast U17 Boys A
while Laval of Placentia will host the U17 Boys B event.
Gonzaga in St. John�s plays hosts to the U17 Girls A, while the U17
Girls B will take place at Baltimore school in Ferryland.
The West Coast U17 Girls will be hosted by Lewisporte Collegiate in
Lewisporte and Exploits Valley High in Grand Falls-Windsor will host
the U17 Boys event.
Play gets under way Friday with the championship games slated for
Sunday afternoon.
