The following is being distributed at the
request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:
Provincial Hoop Championships
The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball
Association will host six U13 Bantam Pepsi Provincial Championships this
weekend, February 25-27 with 43 teams participating.
St. Francis of Harbour Grace will host the East Coast U13 Boys A, while Roncalli
of Avondale will host the U13 Boys B event.
St. Kevin�s Junior High of the Goulds will host the East Coast U13 Girls A,
while the B division will be played at Stella Maris in Trepassey.
Grenfell Intermediate of Grand Falls-Windsor will host the West Coast U13 Boys
event, while the West Coast U13 Girls will be hosted by Xavier Junior High in
Deer Lake.
Play gets underway Friday with the championship games slated for Sunday
afternoon.
