NOTE TO EDITORS:
Ed Byrne, Minister of Natural Resources, will attend two events this
weekend in Corner Brook. At approximately 7 p.m. today (Friday,
April 29) Minister Byrne will officially open the 2005 Agrifood and
Garden Show taking place at the Pepsi Centre April 29 - May 1. This
show is sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources.
Minister Byrne will also be the guest speaker during the annual
convention of the Newfoundland and Labrador Lumber Producers
Association. Minister Byrne will speak during the banquet on
Saturday, April 30, at the Glynmill Inn, at 8 p.m.
