West Coast flooding applications for financial assistance

Residents on the west coast requiring information and/or applications on the claims process are reminded of the following information:

Applications for financial assistance are available at the following locations:

  • Stephenville - Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Office, 58 Oregon Drive
  • Deer Lake - Fire Commissioner's Office, 2 Wellon Drive
  • Kippens and Reidville - Town Halls

A toll-free number has been set up for those requiring information on applications and general inquiries concerning the claims package. The number is 1-888-395-5611.

  • Claimants may also contact the Emergency Measures Organization via e-mail at NLEMO@gov.nl.ca to request information or a claims package.
     
  • The Emergency Measures Organization must receive the completed application before an insurance adjuster can be assigned.
     
  • Completed applications can be faxed to (709)729-3857, dropped off at the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation Office in Stephenville or mailed to: Newfoundland and Labrador Emergency Measures Organization

Municipal Election Update
The adjourned election for Stephenville will proceed tomorrow, October 4.
