NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to attend Northern Development Ministers’ Forum

Tom Rideout, Minister responsible for Aboriginal Affairs, will be attending the Northern Development Ministers’ Forum in The Pas, Manitoba, beginning today, September 14, and continuing until Friday, September 16.

Minister Rideout will join federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for northern development to discuss a variety of issues common to northerners nationwide, particularly those that constitute this year’s theme, Education, Training and Employment.
