Bill 41 passes in House of
Assembly
Tom Marshall, Minister of
Justice and Attorney General and Minister responsible for
Intergovernmental Affairs, announced that Bill 41 An Act to Amend the
Fisheries Products International Limited Act passed in the House of
Assembly today after a free vote.
The passing of Bill 41 will allow Fisheries Products International to
proceed with its income trust proposal to sell 40 per cent of its
U.S.-based marketing division to form an income trust.
