NOTE TO EDITORS:

Kathy Dunderdale, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and Minister Responsible for the Rural Secretariat, in conjunction with the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Cooperatives (NLFC), will participate in a joint news conference tomorrow, Friday, September 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, St. John’s, to announce a new partnership to support cooperative development in rural Newfoundland and Labrador.

Additionally, Minister Dunderdale will give the luncheon address tomorrow at 12:00 noon the NLFC’s Annual General Meeting and Cooperative Conference, also being held at the Holiday Inn, St. John’s. The minister will elaborate on how the new partnership will contribute to rural development in the province.
