NOTE TO EDITORS:

Kathy Dunderdale, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and Minister Responsible for the Rural Secretariat, in conjunction with the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Cooperatives (NLFC), will participate in a joint news conference tomorrow, Friday, September 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, St. John�s, to announce a new partnership to support cooperative development in rural Newfoundland and Labrador.

Additionally, Minister Dunderdale will give the luncheon address tomorrow at 12:00 noon the NLFC�s Annual General Meeting and Cooperative Conference, also being held at the Holiday Inn, St. John�s. The minister will elaborate on how the new partnership will contribute to rural development in the province.
