NOTE TO EDITORS:

Joan Burke, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment will address the annual general meeting of the John Howard Society this evening, June 7. Minister Burke will speak at the AGM dinner at the Fort Pepperrel Annex, Building 308, Charter Avenue, Pleasantville in St. John�s at approximately 8:00 pm. The department of HRLE works in partnership with the John Howard Society to assist high-risk adults and youth, as well as to provide employment counseling and supports for our more vulnerable population.
