NOTE TO EDITORS: Ministers sign proclamation declaring November Diabetes Awareness Month

In support of the Canadian Diabetes Association, Newfoundland and Labrador Region, Health and Community Services Minister John Ottenheimer along with Municipal and Provincial Affairs Minister Jack Byrne signed a proclamation declaring November Diabetes Awareness Month. The Canadian Diabetes Association is observing Diabetes Awareness Month as a time to acknowledge the seriousness of diabetes and the need for all Canadians to prevent the growth of diabetes in our community.
