NOTE TO EDITORS: Seniors� Seminar on Healthy Aging set for Happy Valley-Goose Bay

On behalf of the Department of Health and Community Services and in recognition of Seniors� Month, John Hickey, MHA for Lake Melville, will attend a seniors� seminar on healthy aging on Thursday, June 23, in Happy Valley - Goose Bay.

All seniors are invited to attend the seminar which will address security and fraud-protection issues, tips on active living and healthy aging, safe medication use, stress management and falls prevention.

The seminars are hosted by the Department of Health and Community Services. Interested seniors may call 1-800-563-5599 to pre-register for the seminar.

June is Seniors� Month. This year�s theme is Activate Your Age.
