NOTE TO EDITORS: Seniors� seminar on healthy aging set for Gander

In recognition of Seniors� Month, Ross Wiseman, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and Community Services, will attend a seniors� seminar on healthy aging on Monday, June 13 in Gander.

All seniors are invited to attend the seminar, which will address security and fraud-protection issues, tips on active living and healthy aging, safe medication use, stress management and falls prevention.

The seminars are hosted by the Department of Health and Community Services. Interested seniors may call 1-800-563-5599 to pre-register for the seminar.

June is Seniors� Month. This year�s theme is Activate Your Age.
