NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to officially open Carbonear dialysis unit

Loyola Sullivan, acting Minister of Health and Community Services, and Charlene Johnson, MHA for Trinity-Bay De Verde, will participate in the official ceremony celebrating the opening of the Carbonear General Hospital dialysis unit tomorrow (Friday, April 22).

Budget 2005 announced $566,700 in funding to support the dialysis unit in Carbonear, allowing patients to receive services closer to home. This investment builds on government�s Blueprint commitment to improve timely access to quality health care.
