NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to officially open Carbonear dialysis unit

Loyola Sullivan, acting Minister of Health and Community Services, and Charlene Johnson, MHA for Trinity-Bay De Verde, will participate in the official ceremony celebrating the opening of the Carbonear General Hospital dialysis unit tomorrow (Friday, April 22).

Budget 2005 announced $566,700 in funding to support the dialysis unit in Carbonear, allowing patients to receive services closer to home. This investment builds on government’s Blueprint commitment to improve timely access to quality health care.
