NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to officially open dialysis unit

John Ottenheimer, Minister of Health and Community Services, and Kevin O’Brien, MHA for Gander, will participate in the official ceremony celebrating the opening of the James Paton Memorial dialysis unit tomorrow (Tuesday, March 29) in Gander.

Budget 2005 announced $300,000 in funding to support the dialysis unit in Gander, allowing patients to receive services closer to home. This investment builds on government’s Blueprint commitment to improve timely access to quality health care.
