Public invited to sign book of condolence for the family of former Premier Frank D. Moores

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will make available for public signing a book of condolence for the family of former Premier Frank D. Moores. The book will be placed in the Outer Foyer of the House of Assembly at Confederation Building from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 12, and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.,Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (July 13 -15). The book will be forwarded to the Moores family shortly thereafter.

Government has also set up an online book of condolence which can be accessed from the government home page - www.gov.nl.ca - or by e-mailing messages@gov.nl.ca

Out of respect, flags at provincial government buildings will be flown at half mast until sunset on July 14, the day of Mr. Moores funeral.
